Our 37th Annual meet of CMC Alumni UK 2019 will be held at Mercure hotel Daventry on the 28& 29th June .
The programme spans over two nights and a day, starting on June 28th Friday evening till late on Saturday night. Online registration and payment facilities will be available on this website. The Alma Mater
The CMCAUK was officially formed in 1983, with the aim of providing a platform for doctors and dentists who graduated from Calicut Medical College, Kerala, India residing in the United Kingdom to meet and interact socially. All medical and dental graduates/ post graduates of Calicut Medical College as well as former staff members residing in UK are eligible for membership. Starting from modest beginnings, the association has continued to grow from strength to strength with an active discussion group , well attended meetings and events and professional networking and mentorship programmes.
The Calicut Medical College is one of India's pre-eminent medical schools with a long tradition of medical excellence. Nestled in the city of Calicut(Kozhikode) in the state of Kerala, South India the Calicut Medical College was established in 1957 as the 2nd Medical College in Kerala. Since then ,the institution has grown into a premier center of Medical Education in the state. The vast and sprawling Medical College complex is spread over an extensive area of 270 acres located in picturesque surroundings about 10 km from the heart of Calicut. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and serves 2/5th of the population of Kerala. Its alumni share a close bond with the alma mater and with each other and are now spread across the globe.
